If you are an avid archery teacher looking to mingle with those in the same profession we can help introduce you to archery teachers from all around the world. We host a forum thats main goal is to share information and knowledge of archery and to create a place where people can have something in common. So far we have over 300 members. You will meet such a variety or different archers from basic teachers to professional NAAF Certified Instructors. There is always somebody online and were all a friendly bunch. Our club members are always willing to share ideas and answer any questions you had about teaching styles and archery skills and techniques. We also have a new and used equipment room that people can utilize to sell their gear and pick up new archery supplies. Turning into a pro in this sport takes a lot of willpower, dedication and practice. However, with the right person tutoring you it can turn out to be a lot of fun. The archery school in Bermingham is hosting a meet and great session in the indoor range for any of the new students who want to get to know our awesome teachers on a more personal level. There will be free burgers and hot dogs as well as some refreshments. Your more than welcome to bring your archery gear for a bit of practice. It’s not everyday that one gets to meet National certified Archery tutors from across the globe is such a laid back and relaxed setting. Normally our brilliant instructors are busy at tournament competitions with their most talented pupils but they have taken the time out to answer any questions you may have about the sport of archery. So come on down and don’t be shy, whether your advanced or a novice archer theres room for us all. The teachers will be wearing green t-shirts so you’ll know who to talk to.

Youth Archery Lessons

Youth archery lessons are being held at the regional county Mayfield Stadium this weekend. During which time there will be an archery lessons sign up booth located near the front entrance. The booth belongs to Mayors archery club and we are looking for young people who are interested in the sport. Youths will be taught by certified archery pros who will teach safety aspects and equipment selection and usage. A focus on stabilization will be a large part of the curriculum. If you are wanting to take up a new hobby and improve on your techniques then please sign up for our summer classes. Our main clubhouse has restroom facilities, a snack bar and an indoor shooting range. There will be three instructional classes per week and target shooting everyday for those wanting to get a little practice in. We had a great time last year with many highlights at our annual archery tournament. We expect it is going to be another fun time this year so please join us now!

Archery has become one of the most popular precision sports in the world and you can take part in the fun. Join one of out advanced archery lessons and get taught by the best teachers in Canada. All of our advanced archery teachers are nationally certified archers who have a broad knowledge of bow shooting and extreme skills in stability and equipment use. For beginner archers it is recommended to start with a very light-weight bow. Recurve and Longbows are recommended for initial classes because they are the easiest bows to learn good balance and form with. The second most important thing is arrows. They can be fairly inexpensive but it is important that you get the right arrows for your particular bow. If you get arrows that do not suit your chosen bow you can end up getting irritated and can potentially cause safety related issues. A lot of new comers choose carbon arrows but they are very pricey and when shooting bow for the first time the arrows tend to go missing. Your archery teacher will be able to aid you in finding the right arrows for your bow.

The National archery association offers programs available to all ages in 48 states and has a reputable history of organizing successful archery tournaments. Summer Archery Camp

This summer will be the best archery camp yet! All of our certified archery teachers are ready to go and all we need now is everyone that attended last years archery lessons to turn in their registration papers to Carla Edgerow before May 6th. Any children wanting to attend who are under the age of 10 must provide a signed parental consent waiver. Archers are expected to bring their own archery gear, camping equipment, supplies. The archery courses will be spread out over a 4 week period and students will learn the following skills: Introduction to Archery concepts, Archery Range Safety, Field Etiquette, Archery Equipment selection and Shooting Techniques. If you have never attended one of our archery camps before you are in for a lot of fun and tons of learning. Our teachers have been active members of the NAAF archery association for years and have a firm understanding of what it takes to teach young and old a solid technique in the sport.
